I've already gushed and gushed about this incredible couple over on their engagement post, but that isn't going to stop me from doing it a little bit more. I spent a lot of time with Diana and Ben discussing their wedding day, what was the most important aspects to them and what they really wanted most from their wedding photos. It made my heart oh so warm when they said they really wanted to focus on the two of them, simply being together on their wedding day. There are few other things (if any) that a photographer wants to hear from their clients. My heart soared! They were my last wedding of 2014, so getting married in late November could have been problematic for their schedule, but we worked together on their timeline and lets just say, I had more time than I have ever had with clients...and their images show that! Having an incredible second shooter in Jennie Andrews didn't hurt either!
There are moments in photography, where the world stops spinning, the light glows and there is no one else in the world except for you (the photographer) and your clients. This entire wedding day was just that. Absolutely breathtaking, perfect and the fact that I was able to witness these two coming together as one unit was more than I could have ever asked for. It's a humbling experience to be a part of and I'm so honored that Diana and Ben put that immense trust in me!
I hope you take a few moments and enjoy every ounce of this amazing day!
I simply adore this photo from Diana's bridal session that we did about a month before the big day.
This my friends, is why first looks are forever my favorite.
And this is why a second shooter is everything! Jennie was there to capture moments through windows, moments when I was dancing and singing with my clients, and little flower girls frolicking in the sun while I was taking family photos, and my bride looking out from the chapel in a beautifully serene moment.
Diana and Ben, I simply adore you two. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for not only trusting me to capture your special day, but for being an amazing friend!
Smiles,
Kayla F
