Berkeley Botanical Gardens Wedding | Kelsey & Michael Married

Kelsey & Michael's day was truly magical. Something I tell every client, especially when we start getting into the more hectic or stressful days leading up to the wedding day, is that their day will be wonderful, magical even. Its true - your veil might have a whole in it, the band might be 30 minutes late, or if you somehow get bacon grease all over your jacket (ahem, Michael) but in the end you are marrying your best friend. What is better than that? 

This couldn't have been more true for K&M. A little bacon grease was no worry (thank you to my AMAZING second shooter Cassie for going all Martha Stewart and hand washing Michael's jacket) and there was SO MUCH emotion all day long. Just wait until you see and read about their first look! 

Ben Lomond Redwood Wedding | Christy and Matt Married

Christy and Matt are two INCREDIBLE people!!! Not only do they have the biggest hearts, but they are so much fun to be around! I knew from C+M's engagement session (if you haven't seen if before, definitely go check it out) that being a part of their wedding day was going to be magical...and it definitely was! When you have your first look in a Redwood grove, I think its safe to say that the rest of the day will be pretty amazing! When talking with Christy about details of their day, I loved that she let the professionals go wild with their vision. I remember her telling me they would have family style picnic tables, and that Farmgirl Flowers was given the reins to do whatever they wanted with the florals as long as they were colorful! Ahh, how refreshing!
The stunning scenery, this incredibly in love couple, the amazing amounts of love that flowed throughout the day are so evident in these images. I'm tickled that I not only was asked to document their big day, but that I was able to witness these two coming together as one in front of their closest friends and family. It truly was a beautiful experience!
