I walked into the hotel room and there they were! Getting ready together, putting on their final touches and looking at each other making little touch-ups. It was absolute perfection! Monisha looked absolutely exquisite in her gold embroidered dress, soft up-do and timeless makeup by Lela Nguyen & Thomas was the definition of dapper in his tuxedo.
When I arrived at their hotel, I walked out on their balcony and wow! Their view was one of the most beautiful ones I've seen of the city. Not only did they have a view of the Bay Bridge and Ferry Marketplace Building, but when you turned around, the view Downtown San Francisco and the incredible golden light that was coming through the buildings on that perfect February day was just enough to make me stay right there on their balcony for the first part of their day! We continued to the piers and I immediately fell in love with Monisha & Thomas and their sweet love and candidness with each other. They were so sweet, intimate and Thomas looked at Monisha like she was everything! It was pure magic! Tourists and locals alike were stopping to watch the couple take in moments of quiet and thoughtful embraces.
M&T's reception was over at Tank 18 in the city and the lovely, Katie Rebecca Events, put her beautiful talents to work creating a lovely peach, pink and green wonderland filled with wine barrels, candlelight for days and the sweetest chalkboard installation that served as their guest book! KRE has more creativity and design in her pinky than anyone I know!
The night ended with Thomas' little girls singing what turned out to be their first dance & friends and family toasting the couple and all the years to come!
