Sebby Madness!!

Tuesday

So, I have to let it be said; I have a fantastic job...well, part time job! I seriously love taking pictures. I could get all warm and fuzzy and call it capturing moments, but lets just leave it simple. I love it! When Lei emailed me and said she wanted me to take Easter pics of Sebby, I was so excited! I mean it had been months (well, really only 3) since I had seen the little guy so I needed my Sebby fix! We were brainstorming on locations when we decided to go to Campbell Station Park; let me just say...this is one of my favorite parks now! It was super quiet (on a beautiful Easter Sunday) and the shade was amazing!!! (Yes, I just said the shade was amazing). I would highly recommend this park for anyone who is thinking about doing a session and doesn't want to have their pics taken in front of a boocoo amount of people. Anyway, on to this precious face that I love so much!

Yes, I know...I am so lucky!!

I must have said "He is so cute" or "He is so pretty" well over a hundred times! I just can't help it...he is!!!!! And he's sooo much fun! He loves the camera. It may be the fact that I'm behind it :) or it may be the fact that its a huge black object that continuously makes noise. Either way, I am happy he likes it!

Love his parents! They seriously are the best! I think he likes them too!

We ended on some sweet family pics! An hour tops and this is how we finish? With a giggling baby...yes, this is the best job ever!

Big Day Sneak Peak

Wednesday

So I have been waiting and waiting to do this post! I couldn't help myself...I couldn't wait until I was done with this edit to show these puppies off! My first wedding was awesome! Megan and Josh were so awesome and fun and easy going! Not only was the sky rolling and threatening rain; no, that is an understatment. Not just rain...Crazy-East-Tennessee-There-Is-a-Tornado-About-to-Roll-Down-the-Road weather. It was immensly humid and windy and after being outside for about 15 min, we had had enough! But, before the ceremony started I was able to get some amazing shots! And one super happy, loving couple right after the vows! I love this job! :)

Now, I absolutely love solid bands. I think there is nothing classier than a simple, beautiful gold (or white gold) band! Just stunning! Especially on a brushed metal chair! :D

This crazy weather at least allowed me to get some killer shots...angry storm skies, oh how I love you for pictures!
Photobucket

And lastly, to an amazing couple...I couldn't have been more thrilled that you were my first couple...You will forever hold a super special place with me! I might force you to make babies so I can continue to take your pictures! :D

Make sure to check back for a full post of Mr. and Mrs. Jordan! I will be a busy bee getting these done! :)

TOMS One for One (3 for Kayla)

Sunday

So, probably the whole world knows about TOMS shoes. If not, then you are certainly missing out on an amazing movement and cause (and now fashion statement)! I found out about TOMS from the American Express commercial he was in way back about 3 years ago! I thought it was such a cool idea. About a year and a half ago I bought my first 2 pairs of TOMS...they were SO comfortable. So after completely bruising my two big toe nails at a wedding (and living through crazy pain for 3 months) because my shoes were too small I decided to seek and find the perfect wedding shoe. After buying probably 3 pairs of other shoes...I came across my TOMS in my closet and decided to give them a try. Boy, did my feet thank me! They are all I wear now. It doesn't matter if its raining, freezing cold or swealtering hot...I will forever wear my TOMS. So here is my small collection. It will grow. I promise! :)

Yes, that is a size 10 you are reading...I have skis for feet! :)

Even Beanie likes them!

My classic Burlaps make me feel like an elf when I wear them...teehee! :)
Photobucket

So stinking comfortable!!! Now I just need a picture of me wearing them at a wedding! ;) If you haven't gotten a pair of TOMS I completely suggest you should! I obviously love them so much I blogged about them! haha!

Cards and Books Make Me Happy

Saturday

Happy Saturday Everyone!! I am sitting here in my PJs sipping on some coffee and listening to some classic music with my love Robby...although the theme to ET just came on and I thought twice about it being "classical" music. But I digress! The real reason for this post is not to fill you in on my Saturday morning but to share my bundle of goodies that I have received this week! OOOOHHHH YES! The joys of being a photographer! The UPS website is now a bookmark on my browser. First up is my first album!!! I painstakingly spent hours...and hours, and hours on this album! It was my first so I had no clue what I was doing...I just did! And I have to say, I am now a pro at this :slightly sarcastic tone: and I really and sincerely can't wait for the next :completely serious tone:. I had so much fun and in the end I might have squealed when I opened the box! (Thankfully, only Diesel heard me and he thought I wanted to play)

Photobucket
Oh, I can hear them now... the "Oooohhhs" and "Aaahhhs".

Photobucket
Lookie!!! Go ahead! "Eeeehhhsss" "Oooohhhh"!! I know, right?!? :)

And to top it all off, I got to go pick up by business cards yesterday!!! HOORAY! I have been waiting for months to be able to go get these printed and boy am I excited to show them to you! Now, I in no way had any creative idea of what to do for my business card. So I called upon a champ! If you haven't gone over and looked at Kate Moore Creative you should just go ahead and migrate over there. Seriously, her stuff is AMAZING and she is a bundle of joy to work with. Even if you don't need her services for business...she makes a mean announcement...of any kind! Wedding, Party, etc. Just go...shoo. She made this process so incredibly easy! Plus, she totally challenged me in what I wanted to express as a photographer...which ended up being an extension of me. If you know me well at all, you know she captured every essence of me in my logo! Perfection (the logo, not me!) So off I went to Larry B Newman Printing Company to get these puppies printed. I died when I picked them up...yes, I just said that (Hello, Rachel Zoe). I died! I love them!!!

Well, I have run over my alloted blog time...and I have a wedding to go shoot! Oh, thats right...MY FIRST WEDDING by myself that is. Well, hello butterflies!

Market Square and Marble Slab

Sunday

I am so incredibly excited to share this post with all of you! Meet Megan, Josh, Ryder and Rico! They are one adorable little family that is about to make it official on April 9th and they have asked me to document their big day!! I am beyond thrilled that they are my first wedding! I don't think I could have gotten any luckier! So Megan and Josh really wanted to head down to Krutch Park and Market Square b/c this is where they had their first date. They spent hours just walking around Market Square and talking and before they knew it, shops were closing up and the square was empty. I love those stories; when you get completely lost in conversation and it feels like you have been talking for 10 minutes, not 5 hours! So off we went to Krutch Park. It was a Friday evening so the place was busy, which gave us such a great vibe. Ryder and Rico stole the show for the first little bit and I had so much fun playing and taking pictures of them!

I love this picture of Josh. He was looking at Megan so sweetly, but with that little grin. They made each other crack up all afternoon.

We bustled around the ponds for a little while with the pups and then I thought of the idea of some ice cream...which oh so happens to be something that Megan and Josh did on their first date! I was beyond thrilled!

We had so much fun in that little creamery...maybe too much.

But nothing a little kissy kissy couldn't make up for!

Megan and Josh had told me that they were really wanting some fun and funky pictures...nothing boring for these two; they had mentioned some ideas about graffiti before so I knew exactly where I wanted to take them! We had a blast back here in the alleys...pigeons and all.
