LOS GATOS ENGAGEMENT SESSION | HILLARY & TYLER

These two were brought to me by pure fate. I could go into the details of how we were connected, but lets just say it was written in history that we were to meet! Le Sigh! I ventured down to Los Gatos for the first time and spent a couple of hours with Hillary and Tyler for their engagement session. This city literally reminded me of being back home! Quaint streets, friendly neighbors and people waving...it was lovely! H&T really wanted to do the session in their town and I totally understand why! They love going to a little coffee shop down the street every Saturday morning for breakfast, go for walks in the park, hikes up in the hills and just enjoy being together in this incredible time of their relationship! I always say being engaged should be more than just planning your wedding. It should be a time to enjoy the promise you made to each other. A planning of the future...not just the wedding day. A time to get excited about your MARRIAGE!!!

I simply adored this time of hanging out and getting to know Hillary and Tyler. They were absolutely perfect in every way. The way Tyler teased Hillary about not being good TV show watcher, the way they easily molded themselves to sit together, and the way Hillary is the absolute PERFECT height to simply rest her head on Tyler's shoulder. These are the little moments I take with me from my shoots and the time with my clients. I'm so excited for their lives together and to continue this sweet friendship that was meant to be.

TENNESSEE SUMMER FAMILY SESSION | THE GANANCIALS

One thing I have come to learn from being a photographer is kids will be kids. I have photographed the Ganancials for (oh my) almost 5 years and not only are they clients, but they are incredible friends! That is one thing I LOVE about my job...my clients really and truly become treasured friends. Well, Sebby was having a "I don't want to be photographed" day. So while I tried my darndest to grab some great family shots, we decided to let Sebby be Sebby. And man oh man, did he end up shining!!! His smile is soooo awesome and when he says "Kaya" I just melt!

Ps. Does this little spot in TN not just make you swoon?!?! It's one of my all time favorites because the colors are always to brilliant, the path is always nice and clear and the area is so intimate. I miss these little nooks and paths!

GOLDEN GATE PARK SPRING ENGAGEMENT | STEPHANIE & JACOPO

I am beyond excited to share my first engagement session of 2015! Stephanie & Jacopo are to become husband and wife in July and I'm so excited to share their big day! S&J have an amazing love story that has traversed the world! They met here in the Bay Area while they were both students at Berkely and their love took them to Italy! Jacopo is a native Italian and Stephanie packed up and joined him for a couple of years before they came back to the States. They currently reside in Chicago, but are excited to continue their adventure together right back here in San Francisco after their honeymoon!


We chose to have Stephanie and Jacopo's engagement session at Shakespeare Garden in Golden Gate Park while they were in town for a quick visit to finalize some wedding day plans and apartment hunt. Spring was just beginning to bloom and the cherry blossoms at the garden were the perfect setting to begin their session. They were absolutely adorable together and even though Jacopo stated many times at the beginning of the session about how nervous he was, I definitely don't think it showed. He was so sweet and smitten with Stephanie and their chemistry showed in their photos! Enjoy!
